The keynote speaker is Larry Burns, General Motors, and the military keynote is John C. Dean, BAE Systems. The pre-conference workshop "Simulation 101," designed for newcomers to Monte Carlo and discrete-event simulation, will be held Dec. 8. Participants will bring their own laptop computers.
