OR/MS professionals who would like to share their applied work are invited to submit posters for the OR in Practice Poster Session to be held during the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Atlanta on Oct. 19-22. Initiated by the INFORMS Academic-Practitioner Interface Committee (APIC), the poster session aims to showcase applications of OR/MS in different industries and to stimulate discussion between OR/MS practitioners and academics. This will be a great opportunity to showcase your successes in solving complex real-world problems in OR/MS.

The poster session will be a multi-day event held in an area near the INFORMS registration desk. Poster authors should be present in the poster session area on Oct. 20 from 4-5:30 p.m. so that meeting attendees will have the opportunity to see your work and discuss it with you. At that time, a panel of judges will review the posters and the best presentation will win a prize of $300. Posters on a topic that is being presented in other venues of the conference are permitted.

The deadline for abstract and description submission is Aug. 29. The poster committee will then select approximately 24 posters for display during the conference. Authors of the selected entries will be notified by e-mail by Sept. 5. Final copy for the poster is due by Sept. 26.
